Pork Stew (chicken free)

Make this balanced pork stew for dogs with rice and vegetables. A nourishing homemade dog food recipe at approximately 154 kcal per 100g.

Method (one-pot)

  1. Rinse the rice

  2. Add the pork shoulder, pork mince, heart, kidney, liver, rice, carrot, courgette, butternut, and broth/water to a large pot or slow cooker.

  3. put on low for 6-8 hours until the rice is soft, the vegetables are tender, and the pork is fully cooked through.

  4. Cook uncovered at the end if needed so the stew reduces slightly.

  5. Allow to cool fully.

  6. Stir in the eggshell powder, oils,, nutritional yeast, zinc, manganese kelp, and salt once cooled or only slightly warm.

  • This works best as a soft pork stew texture rather than a dry mix. if you want it drier reduce the liquid by 100ml

Will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days or portion up and freeze for up to 3 months
