TIP - you can substitute the vegetables for any you would like
Method:
Peel and chop the carrot, courgette, and beetroot (if using) into small, bite-sized pieces.
Peel, core, and chop the apple into small pieces.
If using raw liver, chop into small cubes.
In a large pot, cook the turkey mince over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon.
Add the liver (or other offal) and cook for another 3-5 minutes until it is cooked through.
Add the chopped vegetables (carrot, courgette, and beetroot) to the pot.
Stir in the millet and enough water or low-sodium broth to cover the mixture (about 500-600ml).
Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is tender and has absorbed the liquid. Ensure the vegetables are soft and fully cooked.
Add Oils and Supplements:
Once the casserole is cooked and has cooled slightly, stir in the cod liver oil, wheatgerm oil, and flaxseeds.
Add the eggshell powder, Himalayan salt, zinc source, manganese source, and kelp powder. Stir well to combine.
