A creamy little autumn treat made with pumpkin and plain yoghurt, finished with a tiny pinch of Ceylon cinnamon—served cool or lukewarm.
Method
Blend the pumpkin purée and yoghurt until smooth.
Gradually whisk in the warm water to make a drinkable consistency.
Stir the cinnamon thoroughly into the mixture.
Divide into four small servings and serve cool or lukewarm, never hot.
Use plain pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling. Leave out coffee, nutmeg, mixed pumpkin spice, syrups and whipped cream.
Storage: Refrigerate promptly in a covered container and use within 48 hours, or freeze in small portions.
Offer a small taste first, particularly if your dog is unfamiliar with pumpkin or yoghurt. This is an occasional treat; count it towards their daily treat allowance.
