These blueberry muffins for dogs are a soft, fruity homemade treat that work well as an occasional snack. They are easy to make, freezer-friendly, and ideal for owners who want a simple bake using ingredients commonly found at home.

Ingredients

• Ingredients
• 100g plain flour
• 40g rolled oats
• 1 medium egg
• 80g blueberries, fresh or frozen
• 1 small banana, mashed
• 80ml unsweetened plain yoghurt
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly grease a muffin tray or line it with paper cases.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, and baking powder.
3. In a separate bowl, mash the banana, then mix in the egg, yoghurt, and olive oil.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
5. Gently fold in the blueberries. If using large blueberries, you can lightly crush a few to spread the flavour through the batter.
6. Spoon the mixture evenly into 8 small muffin spaces.
7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until lightly golden and firm on top.
8. Allow to cool fully before serving to your dog.
